The long-delayed coroner’s inquiry . into the death of Paul Drasdorff, aged 47, a shopkeeper of Waverley, who was shot dead on September 1 by an armed - thief, was held to-day and resulted in Leslie Warburton being committed for trial on a charge of murdering Drasdorff. Detectives gave evidence that Mrs. Drasdorff identified Warburton in a parade of nine men at the gaol. Warburton had taken detectives to the cemetery at Randwick, where he indicated where a pair of rubber gloves and an automatic pistol were lying in the grass.
Warburton denied that he was concerned in the shooting of Dfasdorff.
