Bullocks for £2 10s.
An instance of the difficulties of Australian pastoralists was given by Lord Luke, chairman of Bovril Limtied, at the annual meeting of the company at London. He said that big four-year-old bullocks reared on the Bovril Australian estates had been sent to the Government works at Wyndham. They had realised under 30s a head plus a bonus on the profit of the works, but this was not expected to exceed 20s a head.
