BRITISH IRON AND STEEL TRADE. IMPROVEMENT MAINTAINED. British Wireless. Rugby, April 13. The recovery of Britain’s iron and steel industry, which last year achieved the highest production since 1929, has been more than maintained in the current year. The figures for March were the best for four and a-half years. The total for the first quarter easily surpassed that for the corresponding period of 1934.
