DISPUTE SETTLED

AUCKLAND WATERFRONT WORK. CALL FOR LABOUR ANSWERED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The dispute between waterside workersand the Union Steam Ship Company, which has lasted for three days, ended to-day. Members of the Waterside Workers’ Union answered a call for labour for the steamer Wingatui and the motorship Hauraki without making a further demand for sorters to be employed in loading the vessels. In consequence cargo work was carried out on both vessels throughout the day. Owing to the delay the Hauraki’s departure for Wellington has been postponed until noon to-morrow, and the Wingatui’s departure for southern ports has been postponed until Monday.
