JAN KIEPURA NEWS

HIS FIRST HOLLYWOOD FILM. Cabled advice has just been received by Mr. S. H. Craig, general manager for Paramount Pictures in New Zealand, to the effect that Jan Kiepura’s first Paramount picture - will be “The Count of Luxembourg.” John W. Hicks jnr., vice-president of Paramount in New York, indicated in his cable that no effort would be spared, to make the picture the most outstanding musical-comedy in years. Magnificent settings, prominent musical numbers, and a splendid cast will be given to Kiepura’s new picture, which will go into production shortly.
