TROTTING AT AUCKLAND NIMBUS HAS SPRINT VICTORY. SIX OF SEVEN FAVOURITES WIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, March 23. There was a fair attendance at the Auckland Trotting Club’s autumn meeting at Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-day. The weather was delightfully fine and the track was fast. The totalisator handled £16,889 10s, compared with £20,123 10s last year, a decrease of £3234. Last year’s - programme comprised eight races and only seven were held at to-day’s meeting. The order passing the stands was Pukemiro, Homeward, Lady Coronado, Nimbus and Realty. Nimbus was third at the turn and came up in the straight to clinch a narrow victory from Francis Lincoln, who appeared from the rear. Jackie Thorpe was a close third and Prince Pedro fourth.
