DANCE FOR BAND FUNDS

AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. The dance conducted by the New Plymouth League Cycle Club for the funds of the Taranaki Regimental-New Plymouth Municipal Band held in the agricultural hall on. Saturday night was well attended. The band paraded from the post office and gave musical items en route and at the hall. The floor was in splendid Order and a programme of oldtime and modern dances was appreciated. Vinsen’s Ambassadors Dance Band of seven players provided the music. Two novelty dances were held. The Mystery Gay Gordon Schottische was won by Miss Greenway a..d Mr. Daisley and the Monte Carlo waltz by Mr. Geary and Miss W. Sefton. Supper was in charge of the women’s committee. i
