Canadian Labour would not even consider a general strike in the event of war, stated Mr. Tom Moore, president of the Dominion Trades and Labour Congress. He stated, regarding Mr. J. Maxton’s threats in England, that Canadian Labour was thinking about peace and not war. “The more you talk of war the more probable it becomes,” he said.
