The -Commonwealth had -desired in eonneetion with any quota for beef which might be specified now or in future feat there should foe no differentiation between frozen and .chilled. To this it is believed-the British Government has not agreed and, moreover, has suggested fhai. for the April-June quarter the .exports of chilled beef should not exceed 30,0TP cwt It is stated that the shipments already made approach .35,0OTewt and that the .suspension of further shipments is the British reply to Australia’s latest quest•CATTLE SUBSIDY BILL IN LUNDS.
