Those Score Cards.

Once again “Running Shot” would like to draw the attention of those bowlers who are selected to play in the No. 2 position to the fact that the score cards are the official record of the game and for recording and Press purposes it is essential that the cards are filled in to the smallest detail. Some of the cards returned during the last week or two have been entirely neglected, and this, mean' that club officials have to chase round and fill in the cards from the boards after the offenders have disappeared. This should not be necessary, as the players concerned have plenty of time to write in the details as the heads are played. The skips are also tc blame as they sign the cards, and in the majority of cases do not even look to see whether or not the card tallies with the score board, ftf No. 2’s and skips would see to that these faults are remedied it would be more satisfactory aU> concerned.
