By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. New York, March 13. George Arthur Brest, better known by the screen name of George Arthur, who was formerly a British stage comedian, was arrested' upon his arrival from Nassau to-day on a charge of stealing a valuable bracelet from Stephen Raphael, a London banker, at Cannes.

Arthur gained considerable prominence in silent motion pictures, in which he teamed with the late Karl Dane, but since the sound pictures began he has been inactive.
