thanksgiving celebration. KING’S JUBILEE AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press AssociatiomAuckland, Mardh 13. The Anglican Primate, Archbishop A. W., Averill, has issued to all city and suburban Mayors, members of local bodies, Army, Navy and Air Force officers, consuls, and prominent citizens, an invitation to attend an official national service of thanksgiving in St. Matthew’s Church on Monday, May 6, on the occasion of the' commemoration of- the silver jubilee of King George’s reign. The church holds 2000 persons and it is expected it will be filled. The service will be as nearly as possible similar to that in St. Paul’s, London, but' the Auckland service will be held 12 hours earlier and will be the first in the Empire.
