DEATH OF MRS. HOLLARD

BORN WELLINGTON 81 YEARS AGO.

The death took place recently at the residence of her son, Mi-. Frederick Bollard, Fulford Street, New Plymouth, of Mrs. Sarah Habgood Hollard, widow of the late Mr. Eli Hollard, at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Hollard was born at Wellington. She was well known throughout Taranaki, having lived at Kaponga and Hawera, she had been residing with her son for the last six years. Failing health and advancing years compelled her to lead a quiet life, but she was always ready to help with knitting for any of the churches in their sales of work. She is survived by five daughters and eight sons and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral took place at Te Henui Cemetery, New Plymouth, where her husband was also buried.
