SOUTH’S DEFEAT C?F NORTH. REMARKABLE CATCH TAKEN. An interesting cricket match was played at Manutahi last week-end, when a team drawn from the north of the Goodwin cricket competition area played the southern representatives. South won by 125 to 100. The north team was selected from the Manutahi, Mokoia and Meremere clubs, while the remaining teams, Alton, Kakaramea and Whenuakura, provided the players for'the south team. S. Cousins (34), Whenuakura and T. Percy (36), Mokoia. were the most successful batsmen. The bowling honours were well distributed. The highlight of the day’s fielding was a one-handed catch by W.
