DEATH IN COLLISION

BUS DRIVER NOT NEGLIGENT. EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, March 6. An inquest was held to-day into the death of Nellie Marguerite Allis, who was killed on February 7 when a motorcycle was struck by a Bell Company bus at Khandallah. Evidence was given with regard to how the collision took place, at the conclusion of which the coroner, Mr. Gilbertson, expressed the opinion that the bus driver was not driving recklessly and had taken proper precautions. He found that the girl died as the result of injuries received. The driver of the cycle was Leslie Charles Allis, a brother of the victim.
