WEATHER STILL FINE
MODERATE SOUTHERLY WINDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There will be some scattered passing showers in the extreme north and northeast but otherwise the weather will be fine. Temperatures will be cool to moderate. Winds will be south-west to south-east, mainly light to moderate but strong at first in parts of the Cook Strait area and on the east coast of the North Island. Seas in New Zealand waters will be rather rough to rough north of Banks Peninsula and in parts of Cook Strait but elsewhere moderate. In the eastern Tasman Sea there will be moderate south to south-east winds and smooth to moderate seas. An intense anti-cyclone covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand. Pressure is falling over south-eastern Australia.
