AUSTRALIAN TRADE

RESTRICTION ON WINDOW GLASS. NEGOTIATIONS THIS SUMMER. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London. March 5. In the House of Commons - Mr. G. Lambert asked the Secretary of State for the Dominions, Mr. J. H. Thomas, whether, seeing that British exports of window glass to Australia were fixed at a much lower quota than those to Belgium, he would take advantage of it as ground for the limitation of Australian imports of meat to Britain. Mr. Thomas said that all relevant considerations would be considered in the negotiations with Australia, about which the Britidi agriculturalists would be infopned. Negotiations would begin when the Dominion Prime Ministers arrived.
