NAVAL SHIPS’ VISIT

AUSTRALIAN VESSELS ARRIVE. WEEK AT BAY OF ISLANDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarei, March 6. Five ships of the Australian Navy, including H.M.S.. Sussex, which brought the Duke of Gloucester to the Commonwealth, arrived in the Bay of Islands this morning. They will remain during the week when big game fishing and other amusements are projected. During the voyage the ships were engaged in mock warfare. The Sussex was supposed to be an enemy craft, which succeeded in slipping unobserved through the flotilla off the North Cape.
