QUIET AT 81s PER CWT. CHEESE VALUES UNCHANGED. The Dairy Board . has fixed prices on the basis of 9 5-8 d for butter and s|d for cheese, equivalent to 78s 9d and 45s lid c.i.f.e. Importers’ advances are 8d and 4d for March. . Latest agents reports show that butter is quiet on the London market at 80s to 81s, while, cheese has dropped to 46s 6d. Reports are:— Anglo-Continental:—Butter: Market quiet, 80s. Cheese: Market quiet White and coloured 46s 6d. Newton King Limited:—Butter: Salted 80s to 81s (83s to 84s) (70s last year). Cheese: White and coloured 46s (47s 6d) (42s 6d to 45s last year). Messrs. Collett and Co. Ltd.: Creamery butter (finest) 80s to 81s; (first) 79s to 80s, cheese, white, 46s to 475; . coloured. 46s to 475. Messrs. Samuel Page and Son Ltd:— Butter: Market weak. Danish f.o.b. 90s (925); New Zealand finest salted 80A to 81s (84s to 85s); Australian finest unsalted 86s to 87s (88s .to 90s),’ salted 80s to 81s (83s to 84s); G-A.Q. 78s (81s to 82s). Cheese: Market weak, New Zealand white 46s (47s 6d to 48s), coloured 46s (47s to 47s 6d); spot price for Canadian white 58s to 62s (58s to 625), coloured 58s to 62s (58s to 625). > A. S.
