Sir John Simon, Foreign Secretary, the French Ambassador, Mr. Corbin, and members of the Austrian Legation welcomed Dr. Kurt Schuschnigg, Austrian Chancellor, and Dr. Herr Berger Waldenegg, Austrian Foreign Minister, at Victoria Station. Three hundred Socialists and Communists,; who intended to demonstrate, arrived after the departure of the visitors. Dr. Schuschnigg paid a tribute to the impressioh the Prince of Wales had created ill Austria.
