WEST END BEATS FITZROY. AN UNUSUAL CONCLUSION. An exciting finish to an Avery Cup bowling match at Fitzroy yesterday saw West End beat Fitzroy on the last head of the last game to be finished. McKenzie (Fitzroy) was two up, but Mander completely altered the head and the West End rink scored six. The scores are:— W.E. F. Totals 64 60 EASY WIN FOR PARITUTU., Three rinks from the Paritutu and Fire Brigade clubs beat New Plymouth at the New Plymouth greens. The score was 72 to-42. Details are:— P.-F.B. N.P.
