FAST RAILWAY SPEED
BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE IN FRANCE. RUN FROM TOURS TO ORLEANS. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Feb. 11. The London and North-Eastern Railway express locomotive Cock O’ the North, which has been undergoing tests at Vi try made a trial run from Tours to Orleans with a heavy load at an ayerage speed of 77 miles an hour.
