WINDS IN SOUTH TARANAKI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy along the east coast with scattered though mainly light showers, especially between Cook Strait and the East Cape. Elsewhere it will be fine and temperatures warm. There will be some fog on the coast. Winds will mainly be between southeast and north-east. They will be strong in parts of Cook Strait and the South Taranaki Bight, but elsewhere light to fresh. Seas in New Zealand waters will be rather rough to rough in parts of the Cook Strait area and between Kaikoura and East Cape, elsewhere smooth to moderate. In the eastern Tasman Sea there will be light to moderate southeast to north-east winds and smooth to moderate seas.

There is very little change in the'situation. The pressure is uniform and rather high over New Zealand, the highest readings being east of the South Island.
