DUNEDIN EXHIBITION MATCHES.

The Australian lawn tennis players Kay and Ewin proved their superiority in exhibition matches to-day. Kay defeated Angas, South Island champion, in a match in which the Australian always had something in reserve, although Angas played well, especially in the first and the last sets. Ewin beat the Otago champion, G. A. Pearce, in straight sets and was never troubled. In the doubles the Australians outclassed Angas and Pearce, winning 6—o, 6—o in 12 minutes. The same pair beat Angas and E. G. Boddy, their excellent combination rather than the individual performances being the deciding factor. ' Results are: Kay beat Angas 4—6, 6—o, 6 —4; Ewin beat Pearce 6—3, 6—4; Kay and Ewin beat Angas and Pearce 6—o, 6—o; Kay and Ewin beat Angas and Boddy 6—2, 6—2.
