FATAL COLLISION
MOTOR-CYCLE STRIKES A BUS.
ACCIDENT NEAR WELLINGTON.

Severe injuries from which she subsequently died were received by Miss Nellie Allis, aged 17, who lived at 44 Ware Street, Khandallah, when the motor-cycle on which she was riding with her brother Leslie C. Allis, aged 26, collided with a bus at the corner of Porirua Road and Khandallah Road about 8 o’clock this morning. Miss Allis received a compound fracture of the left ankle and leg and lacerated ’ wounds to her face, left hand and arm, and her brother received a fracture of the jaw. Both were attended to by a doctor at the scene of the accident, and were taken to hospital by the free ambulance. Miss Alliss’died at 8.20 p.m. The hospital authorities stated to-night that Mr. Alliss’ condition was satisfactory.
