AIR RACE WINNERS
AWARDED AERO CLUB’S TROPHY.
FLYING ACHIEVEMENT OF 1934.

The Aero Club has awarded the Britannic trophy for 1934 and gold medals to Mr. C. W. A. Scott and Mr. T. Camp-bell-Black in recognition of their Melbourne centenary race flight, and silver medals to Mr. Cathcart-Jones and Mr. Waller, who made the record return English-Australia trip after the race. ‘ The International Federation has recognised Messrs Scott and CampbellBlack’s time as the first international capital to capital record.
