The semi-finals of the centenary croquet singles championship resulted: W. T McCleery (Australia) defeated Ward Petley (England); H. R. Poulter (England) defeated S. Du Pre (England). The final and the grand final will be played to-morrow. , . , Teams for the first test beginning on Friday are:— England: Du Pre, Poulter, Petley, Sir Francis Wemyss. Australia C. J. Miller, J. C. Windsor, McCleery, E. M. Hunt. New Zealand: Stratton. Mrs. Caldow, Corbett, Hartnell.
