MANY VISITORS
POPULARITY OF DAWSON FALLS
HOSTEL FULL EVERY NIGHT.
January continues to be a very busy month at Dawson Falls and the hostel has been filled to capacity every night. , Sunday was clear and warm and a perfect day for the 40 car loads of sightseers which visited Dawson Falls. A large party of climbers from Manaia, Misses D. and B. Patterson and R. Hill and Messrs. M. Litchener, R. Hill, J. Pettigrew, J. Barnes and W. Edwards reached the summit and reported that climbing conditions were excellent. Mr. R. Syme (Hawera) and party and Mr. Ward (Eltham) and party also made ascents.

H. and Miss Boyle (Wanganui), Mr. S. T. Uren (Wellington), Misses L. and S. Bagley (Dunedin), Miss M. Adams (Christchurch), Mr. R. Lancaster (Palmerston North), Miss D. Trills (Wanganui), Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Bone (Hawera), Mr. and Mrs. H. and Master J. W. Miller (Day’s Bay, Wellington), Rev. and Mrs. G. T.
