FATHER CHARGED
CHILDREN’S DEATH IN ACCIDENT. MOTOR-CAR RUNS OFF BRIDGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Jan. 21. George Leslie Houlton, driver of the car which collapsed over a bridge near Haumoana on Saturday night, resulting in the death of his two children, was charged in the Napier Police Court this morning with being intoxicated in charge of the car and with causing their death. He was remanded for a week. An inquest was opened for identification purpose? and also adjourned for a week.
