Inspired by the ancient Roman system, the Nazi chiefs are completing a new form of Government, states the News Chronicle’s Berlin correspondent. Under the new scheme a Senate, composed exclusively of 60 Nazi members will replace the discredited Reichstag, Herr Hitler is thus becoming more Cae-sar-like titan ever. * One of the first tasks of the Senate, which will meet in the Munich Brown House, will be the appointment of Herr Hitler’s deputy, for which several hostile candidates are competing. Baron von Neurath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, not being. a Nazi, will be excluded from the Senate, which will be inaugurated about June, when the » present constitution will be replaced by one in which Germany will be divided into twenty districts. Each district will have a Nazi governor.
