PERSONAL
The Postmaster-General, the Hon. A. Hamilton, will visit Taumarunui on Friday to open the new post office there, the Ohura County Council was advised yesterday.
Mr. J. Risk, Ohura, will judge the Red Poll cattle section at the Feilding show, which is one of the principal shows for that breed of cattle in the Dominion. Mr. W. P. Okey, secretary of the Taranaki Agricultural Society, returned to New Plymouth from, Auckland yesterday morning. Mr. G. H. Bell, president of the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders’ Association, has returned after visiting the Gisborne district with the classification committee.
