BREAK EXPECTED SHORTLY. By Telegraph—Press Association. • Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fine generally with warm to hot temperatures, according to the 4 p.m. forecast. Cloud and haze will gradually increase, however, and rain is developing shortly in western districts and in the far north and south. Winds will be light and variable but soon tending to northerly and gradually freshening. Seas in. New Zealand waters will be smooth to moderate, but rising north of East Cape. In the eastern Tasman Sea there will be increasing northeast to north winds and rising seas. An intense anti-cyclone lies centrally over New Zealand to-day, while a rather vigorous depression is moving from south-eastern Australia on to the Tasman Sea.
