COMPETITION IN NORTH BIG WIN FOR PARITUTU CLUB. AN ADVANTAGE OF 52 POINTS. Shield bowling competitions were continued in North Taranaki on Saturday under good conditions. Fitzroy beat Waitara, West End beat New Plymouth, Paritutu beat Vogeltown and Fire Brigade beat Urenui. BEATEN ON OWN GREENS. VOGELTOWN LOSE TO PARITUTU. There was a difference of 52 in the grand totals of the home and home in favour of Paritutu in its match with Vogeltown on the Paritutu green, Vogeltown holding a five--:oint advantage, but the tables were turned at Vogeltown, where Paritutu scored 141 to 84.
