NOTES ISSUED BY THE BANKS, REDEMPTION TO BE CONTINUED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 11. The chairman of the Associated Banks, Mr. E. P. Yaldwyn, in a statement to-day makes it clear that notes of the trading banks will be redeemed by the banks that issued them. Any outside person or firm now, however, has the right to refuse to accept trading banknotes in payment. - , ■ x X i It is therefore m the interests of everyone that these notes be exchanged for reserve banknotes as soon as possible.
