EGMONT VILLAGE DANCE
HALL COMMITTEE’S EFFORT The Egmont Village hall committee held its New Year dance on Wednesday evening, when there was a splendid attendance; including visitors from New Plymouth, Inglewood and surrounding districts. Music was played by the Royal Maori String Band, and there .were extras by Mr. W. Ashman. Messrs. R. Guilford and J. Dryden were .masters of=ceremony. The two Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr. J. Julian and Miss-E. O’Byrne and Mr. E. Gyde arid Miss' I. Upson. Supper was handed round by members of the hall, committee.
