Commemorating the 150th anniversary of its publication, the Times issued a most interesting 30-full-page supplement reviewing its many activities from its inception. The front page carries the King’s congratulatory message, drawing attention to the unique position the paper holds in the life of the nation and wishing that “distinction and integrity may long continue to earn for the Times its present world-wide appreciation.”
