RECORD BRITISH PUBLICATION. GREAT INCREASE IN FICTION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.30 p.m. London, Dee, 27. A record total of 15,628 books were published in Britain in 1934. Fiction showed the greatest increase. The publication of works of travel, naval and military history, business and technology increased. Those dealing with literature, geography, music and religion declined.
