PERRY TAKING REST
NO TENNIS FOR NEXT TEN DAYS. INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9 p.m. London, Dec. 27. The Daily Express had a radio telephone talk with F. J. Perry, the tennis player, who said he did not know what was wrong with him in his succession of Australian defeats. “I am physically fit,” he said, “but I just cannot keep my mind on the game. I shall do my best in the championships, but I am not going to touch a racquet for ten days.”
