CAMPBELL ISLANDS SHEARING. EXPEDITION PROBABLY TO LEAVE By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The expedition to the Campbell Islands to shear the sheep left there three years ago when the holding was evacuated under, instructions from the mortgagees will probably be proceeded with. A telegram from Dunedin on Wednesday announced that the mortgagees had given no authority to anyone to interfere with the stock, but Mr. H. Brown, Cheviot, organiser of the expedition, has received a message from Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd., which is acting for the mortgagees for Mr. Brown to arrange an agreement at Dunedin before leaving. It is not yet known when the expedition will leave. The boat has been launched and trial runs with the engine have proved satisfactory.
