FROM NEWGATE PRISON.—The execution gate of old Newgate Prison, London, through which passed all criminals condemned to death in the days of Jack Sheppard. The famous Surrey cricketer, P. G. H. Fender, is seen beside the door, which is now housed in the cellars of a London wine company.
