INGLEWOOD

The Misses Alleman and A. Arnold will leave during the week-end for a camping holiday at Urenui. Mrs. Cutfield left this week to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, Palmerston North. Mrs. W. Eaves arrived from Wellington on Thursday evening to visit Mrs. Eaves, senr. Mrs. Martin Sutherland entertained the school teachers and their friends on Thursday afternoon at tea. Mrs. Weame was a tea hostess on Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon Mrs. Braybrooke entertained at tennis. ' ■ Mrs. Wanklyn was a visitor to Hawera on Wednesday. Mrs. O’Carroll will leave on Monday morning to spend the holidays at Auckland. Mrs. L. Torrens will leave early in the week for Hawera. Mrs. C. Twist is visiting Hawera for the holidays. Miss Mary Good after spending several weeks at Stratford has returned to her home at Tariki. Mrs. Evetts will spend Christmas at New Plymouth.
