Lewis, an American visitor who was interviewed by a News reporter at Stratford yesterday. Dr. Lewis has been at Hollywood for 15 years and has been directly in touch with the motion picture business. His remark was made in answer to a query as to how British films were accepted by American audiences. Americans, he said, did not care whether a film originated in Britain, Germany, France or Italy. If it were good they wanted to see it.' « There was not the same national feeling in America as New Zealanders knew it, he said.
