MR. C. R. PETRIE, HAURAKI. ENDORSEMENT BY THE PARTY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 7. The national executive of the New Zealand Labour Party has endorsed the candidature of Mr. C. R. Petrie, storekeeper of Otahuhu, as labour candidate for Hauraki at the next general election. . Mr. Petrie opposed unsuccessfully the late Mr. A. W. Hall in 1928, and tlte present member, Mr. W. W. Massey, at the by-election and the general election in 1931.
