INDIGNANT DENIAL
HUNGARY ANSWERS YUGOSLAVIA.
MURDER NOT KNOWN AS WEAPON.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Budapest, Nov. 22.
Dr. Gombos, the Hungarian Prime Minister, vigorously replying to the Yugoslav Note complaining of Hungary’s sheltering Croatian terrorists connected with the murder of King Alexander, declares that it is merely a continuation of the anti-Hungarian Press campaign, directed with the intention to discredit and intimidate Hungary and paralyse her efforts to maintain her own existence.
In a thousand years Hungary had not known murder as a weapon, says Dr. Gombos. She would welcome every investigation, particularly as the military strength of Yugoslavia and her friends endangered European peace.
