MARKETS REMAIN QUIET.
Dairy produce prices qn the London market are on a par with those reported on Saturday. The markets are still characterised as slow . and quiet.
Quotations received are:—
Mr. H. M. Thomson (Anglo-Continen-tal Produce Company): Butter, market quiet; finest, 745, first 735. Cheese market quiet; white and coloured, 48s to 495. Collett and Company, Ltd.: Creamery butter (finest), 73s to 745; creamery butter (first), 72s to 735; white cheese, 49s to 50s; coloured cheese, 48s to 495. A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd. (J. and J. Lonsdale and Company): Butter, market slow; New Zealand, 745; Australian, 735. Cheese, market weak; white, 49s 6d to 495; coloured, 495. The Dairy Board has fixed the minimum prices of f.o.b. c.i.f., sales on the basis of butter 8 5-8 d and cheese sd, equivalent to butter 71s 3d c.i.f.e. and cheese 44s c.i.f.e.
