SUCCESSFUL EVENT

ROWING CLUB DANCE. < The Workers’ Social Hall was crowded on Saturday night for the New Plymouth Rowing Club’s dance. The function, which was organised in conjunction with the road race social committee, proved a big success and the regatta fund should benefit considerably. The road race committee will continue with the series in the Agricultural Hall next Saturday. The Monte Carlo was won. by Miss Sole and Mr. N. Plumb. Hooker’s orchestra played the music and the masters of ceremonies were Messrs. N. Sole and J. Donaldson.
