PEMBROKE BEATS SKINNER ROAD. FOUR WICKETS IN SUCCESSIONAfter leading by 18 runs on the first innings, Skinner Road lost the home cricket match against Pembroke Road during the week-end by 46 runs. Bowling for Skinner Road J. Clements took tone wickets in succession in Pembroke’s first ipnings, clean bowling three of them. Skinner Road, however, missed -he steady bowling of their captain, E. Hunter, who was absent, in Pembroke s second strike, when, mainly due to B. Dow 24, B. McGillivray 15, C. Walker 15 and F. McGillivray 12, the team amassed 78. The absence of J. Hunter was felt in Skinner Road’s second innings, when with 61 required for a win the team was all out on a drying wicket for 14.
