A Middlesex Change.
Some' quaint old customs in British Rugby administration are being broken down gradually. The Middlesex Rugby Union, for example, recently made a significant change. Hitherto it has been the custom for this county union to elect its president for life, though the formality of re-electing him each year ,was gone through. .However, at the union’s annual meeting, a few weeks ago, not only was a change in the system to the election of a new man each year, advocated, but a new man was proposed in opposition to the man who has been holding the office, and the new nominee was elected.
