OTAGO’S OBJECTION
PLUNKET SHIELD CRICKET GAMES HOME AND AWAY NOT FAVOURED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 13. The Otago Cricket Association has decided to oppose the scheme suggested at a recent meeting of delegates of major associations that for this season Plunket Shield matches should consist of three days and that each province should play each other twice, on the ground of Otago’s difficulty in getting its strongest team away.
