Captain Eddie Rickenbacker’s big twinmotored transport plane landed at Newark airport from Los Angeles, at 8.45 p.m. eastern standard time On Thursday, setting a trans-continental record of 12h 4m for transport planes. The old record, held by himself, was 13h 2m.
